Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and SacredPoly ("Sacred Poly," "we," "us") covering your use of sacredpoly.com, the Sacred Poly Android app, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Safety & Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility: adults only

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. By using the Service, you confirm that you are and that you are legally able to enter this agreement. You may not use the Service if you have been convicted of a sexual offense or a violent felony, or if we have previously removed you. Email confirmation does not verify your age or identity, and you are responsible for the truth of what you tell us.

2. What Sacred Poly is (and isn't)

Sacred Poly is an early-access community for adults interested in honest, consensual polygyny and plural-family relationships. We provide tools for creating profiles, discovering members, and messaging.

• We do not arrange, perform, or recognize multiple legal marriages, and nothing on the Service encourages breaking any law, including bigamy laws.
• We are not a matchmaking agency, counseling service, or background-check provider. We do not conduct criminal background checks on members, and we do not currently verify identity.
• The Service is not for commercial sex, escorting, or "sugar" arrangements.

3. Your account

Keep your login credentials private. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Use one account per person; couples may link or mention partners where the Service allows, but each adult must have their own account and give their own consent. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.

4. Consent and honesty

If you are married or partnered, every existing partner must know about and agree to your use of the Service. Do not misrepresent your identity, age, relationship status, or intentions. Consent is ongoing and can be withdrawn at any time.

5. Community rules

You agree to follow the Safety & Community Guidelines. In particular, you will not:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or pressure anyone, or contact someone after they have said no, blocked you, or stopped replying;
• Post or send sexual content without the recipient's clear consent, or post any sexual content in public profile areas;
• Post, request, or share any content involving minors in a sexual context. Zero tolerance. We report suspected child sexual exploitation to NCMEC and to law enforcement;
• Ask for or offer money, gifts, loans, crypto, or anything of value, or run scams, spam, or advertising;
• Impersonate anyone, use someone else's photos, or create fake accounts;
• Share another member's private information or messages without their permission;
• Post hate speech or discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age;
• Scrape, hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service, or use bots.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post (photos, text, messages). You give Sacred Poly a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process it only as needed to operate and improve the Service. That license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal, safety, or backup reasons for a limited time, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to post your content and that it doesn't include anyone else's image without their consent. Do not post photos of children.

7. Safety, blocking, and reporting

You can block members and report content or conduct through the in-app tools or by emailing [email protected]. We review reports and may act on them, but we cannot monitor every interaction. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, online and in person. Follow the first-meeting safety tips: video chat first, meet in public, arrange your own transportation, tell a friend, and never send money. Read the Safety & Community Guidelines before you meet anyone.

8. Moderation and termination

We may remove content, limit features, suspend, or permanently ban any account that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the Guidelines, or that puts members at risk, with or without notice. You may appeal by emailing [email protected]. You may delete your account at any time from the app or at sacredpoly.com/delete-data.

9. Fees

The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will show the price and terms before you buy, and purchases through Google Play are also subject to Google Play's terms.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Sensitive information, such as sexual orientation, religion, or relationship structure, is shared only by your choice.

11. Early-access service; disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Features may change, break, or be removed. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that you will find a match or that any member is who they say they are.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sacred Poly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the conduct of any member on or off the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold Sacred Poly harmless from claims that arise from your content, your conduct, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Brantley County, Georgia, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. If the changes are material, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
